Quanda (EL7438)and Five Ways (EL7439) Projects
The Quanda and Five Ways Projects consist of two exploration licences covering the potential southern extensions of the Girilambone-Tritton-Budgery mineralised trend. The tenements cover an area of approximately 1100 square kilometres, with variable cover. The Company has identified a series of magnetic trends that are interpreted to represent mafic bodies under and intruding Girilambone Basin sediments. These mafic bodies are considered critical features in the mineralisation model for the region and initial exploration will be focussed proximal to these features.
In 1Q10 a 100m line spaced aeromagnetic survey is being flown in conjunction with regional geochemical surveys and historical prospect assessment
ELA 3900 and ELA 3901 cover an additional 430 square kilometres of prospective Girilambone Basin sediments. The applications cover additional areas over basal sequences of the Girilambone Basin where VMS/VHMS systems may be present.
Upon grant, these projects will be systematically explored in conjunction with the Quanda and Five Ways programs.
